By the way, anti social actually refers to sociopaths and psychopaths in Psychology.
But then I guess the colloquial for someone who doesn’t mix with society is anti social.
I like sticking to definitions most people don’t know.

My jaw dropped. What on earth is she thinking? And she even had the guts to say it on my face? Yeah, and I swallowed it down like a bitter pill.
I don’t know why she feels bad for me. She barely knows me. I don’t even look worthy of pity, either.
A lot of the people I meet think I’m shy because I’m home-schooled. Sorry to pop the bubble, people, but school ruined my social skills. The intimidation received from the bullies at school slowly but surely deteriorated my ability to freely talk to other children. For all I know, I was quite a social child, able to make friends quickly and talk freely, but the kids at the ISLAMIC school were mean. And I was too nice of a kid to be mean to them.
She was shocked when I told her I go out. Like for real? That was stupid of her. She said she thought home schooling was all about staying home. As if. She ALSO thinks my parents are really strict. Sure, they are, but for the better. That doesn’t mean they prevent me from doing what’s good, does it? It gets really annoying to have people that don’t know you jump to conclusions about you.
I remember once upon a time this aunty came to our house with a friend and she was telling her about how “they home school their daughters and the son goes to school”. Oh, how that stung. It’s not even about having girls stay at home. My brother is going to be home schooled as well. Yay! I get to be the teacher.
I wish I could go back in time and give her a nice lecture. The next day, someone else said the same thing. I told them off. They’re never going to bring up THAT topic ever again. Booya.
Anyways, the point of this was… WHY DON’T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT HOME SCHOOLING DOES NOT MAKE ME THE LEAST BIT ANTI SOCIAL?!
